Privacy policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit turmaslim and how it is used. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- No accounts and no sign-ups: we do not ask for your name or personal details to read the site. You only give us a name (and, if you like, an email) when you choose to leave a comment.
- No advertising or tracking cookies.
- Like every website, our server keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site secure and working. These are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
Services we use
- Google Fonts: our typefaces are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
- Our hosting and network providers process requests so the site can be delivered to you.
Newsletter
Our newsletter is not open yet. When it is, we will only use your email address to send the newsletter, every email will have an unsubscribe link, and we will update this policy to name the email service we use.
Comments
- When you leave a comment we store your name, your comment, the page it is on and the time. Your name and comment are shown publicly once approved.
- Your email address is optional. If you give it, we never show or share it; we only use it if we need to reply to you privately.
- To stop spam we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and your browser type. We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address.
- Comments are checked by a person before they appear. We may edit out personal details or remove comments that are spam, rude or unsafe medical advice.
- Want your comment removed? Email us and tell us which page it is on.
If you email us
If you contact us by email, we use your address and message only to reply to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you and to have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we will help.
